There are three activity types in ITC:
Projects is the leading activity since once a resource is assigned and a contract signed it has to be fulfilled. Lecturing is as important as projects since it is in the mission of ITC. Research is mainly for the "available time" for most of the staff, except staff allocated to them. FieldworkThe three activity types are linked since MSc’s and PM’s are involved in divisional research during their training. Despite that there is a load of 90% work at Headquarters in Enschede, fieldwork in Portugal gives the best of our students and staff. Here some nice examples. International coursesSometimes we assist or participate in International courses of our specialty. A very interesting one was in November 2002, the first International course in hydrological applications of Remote Sensing, held in Tandil, Argentina. |
